BCU (Bladder Check-Up)

Blood in the urine, frequent bladder infections and an increased urge to urinate are not yet signs of bladder cancer in 90% of cases. The protexam BCU test can help to rule out bladder cancer, as it can recognise tissue changes at an early stage. Ultrasound and urine examinations with a microscope very often overlook tumours in the early stages.

With the protexam BCU test, unnecessary cystoscopies can also be avoided. The risk here is, for example, injury to the urethra, sphincter or bladder. Early diagnosis and timely treatment can preserve the bladder.
