"Why urine and not blood?"
Pathological changes in the human body begin at the protein level. Proteins are transported through the body in the blood, filtered in the kidneys and excreted. These proteins, as well as their fragments, are now found in the urine and can be reliably detected. A comparison of your proteome with the disease-specific protein patterns leads to your personal test result.
Proteins in the blood are broken down by enzymes shortly after collection. The amount of information contained in the blood therefore depends heavily on how quickly the blood sample is processed. This process is difficult to control. Urine, on the other hand, is a very stable information carrier. When the urine leaves the bladder, the degradation processes of the enzymes are already complete. Therefore, your urine sample can also be transported unrefrigerated in a urine tube with the stabilizer inside.

Either your doctor already has the protexam test in the practice or you can order the health test directly to your home. We will make sure that the protexam test finds its way to you immediately.

5. Return sample
The sample is packed in the return box. The protexam test will be picked up at the location of your choice and sent to our laboratory where your sample will be analyzed.
6. Test result
The protexam test result will be provided to your doctor, with whom you will then make an appointment to discuss further steps.
7. Debriefing of the result
With the result of protexam, your doctor can plan in detail with you what your future path to a healthy life will look like.
