​BSM (Bladder Status Monitoring)

In the early stages of bladder cancer, i.e. when the tumour is confined to the surface of the inner wall of the bladder, treatment is possible while preserving the bladder. After such bladder cancer treatment, the cancer may well recur in 70% of patients. To check this, 3-month follow-up examinations with cystoscopy are normally carried out. The protexam BSM test avoids these unpleasant and risky cystoscopies.
